Preparing for the Ride

Hey, everyone! This summer, the Virginia Student Environmental Coalition (VSEC) will be riding our bikes along the Virginia section of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. We’ll be covering about 25 miles a day and stopping to talk with people in the communities that will be affected by the ACP. Here’s the a more detailed picture of the pipeline route.

Last year, students from VSEC participated in a similar ride against TransCanada’s Energy East Pipeline. Here is a video made by a VSEC student showing some of his experiences along the ride, and here is a blog that shares stories from some activists who were fighting against the Energy East Pipeline.
